What is FLAS

FLAS is short for Family Legal Advice Service and it is what us Lawyers and Family Court Staff refer to when we discuss the particular legal service that parents are able to access when they face issues concerning their kids. If you are on a low income than you may be eligible to receive a government subsidy - which means you are able to access two FREE sessions with a family lawyer. You can get advice on options concerning the care of the kids and that Lawyer can help you complete particular forms if you are making any Family Court applications, once mediation/Family Dispute Resolution is completed.

FREE Family Legal Advice

FREE family legal advice may be available through Family Legal Advice Service (FLAS). The FLAS Specialist Ltd is an approved FLAS provider - a Lawyer. We will assess both legal issues and your financial eligibility at the outset - deliver a prompt response and LEGAL CONSULTATION VIA SKYPE - and make any referrals to authorised Family Dispute Resolution providers (mediators). We can also help refer you back to legal aid lawyers in your region, once you have started any court proceedings AND a Judge has said its ok for you to have a lawyer act for you from that point on.
